ETERNAL SPRING wows at Hot Docs premiere, takes lead in Audience Award

The animated Canadian documentary feature ETERNAL SPRING (長春) wowed at its North American premiere Tuesday night, with filmmaker Jason Loftus in attendance for the film’s first showing before a local Toronto audience. Hot Docs Canadian programmer Alex Rogalski led a Q&A after the film with Loftus and film participant and artist Daxiong.

Audience members turned out in large numbers for ETERNAL SPRING (長春) on May 3 at the Varsity Cineplex, May 3.

An overwhelming response from the crowd for the heist story/animation/human rights documentary saw ETERNAL SPRING (長春) the next morning at No. 1 in the Hot Docs Audience Award race.
