‘Eternal Spring’ to join Doc Edge (NZ) Oscar-qualifying competition + live Q&A with director and artist

Multi-award-winning documentary feature ETERNAL SPRING (長春) will be part of the 2022 Doc Edge film festival in New Zealand, as the Oscar-qualifying event adopts a hybrid model to screen its films in 2022.

The animated doc, which claimed both audience prizes at Hot Docs earlier this spring, is streaming online now through July 10 on Doc Edge’s virtual cinema. To kick off the film’s availability in New Zealand for the festival, Doc Edge is hosting a live Q&A with ETERNAL SPRING (長春) director Jason Loftus and artist and film subject Daxiong on Saturday, June 11 at 2:30 PM local time.
